These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall apply if you enter the Photos for the Future competition ("the Competition") located at www.historyasia.com ("the Website").

The promoter (“Promoters”) of the Competition is AETN All Asia Networks Pte. Ltd.

The Competition is open to residents of Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand (each a “Country” and collectively, “Territory”) and excludes employees (and their families) of the Promoters, and their associated companies, and the closing date for entries is 15 January 2009.

The Promoters shall not be responsible or liable to any person who attempts to access or participate in the Competition from any other place other than the Territory.

Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry into the Competition. Entrants below 18 years must obtain parent’s or guardian’s consent before entering the Competition. The Promoters reserve the right to request written proof of residency and of age of any winner before the prize is dispatched. The Promoters also reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

Entrants may submit as many entries for the Competition, but only 1 prize per winner will be granted.

By entering the Competition, entrants hereby represent and warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete. The Promoters may in their absolute discretion refuse to accept an entry for any person or persons without giving any reason at any time. In any event, an entry shall be disqualified where:- a) the Promoters have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these Terms and Conditions; or b) it is not received by the Promoters in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions will be deemed to include the instructions set out in the contents of this Website. [Registration on the Website shall be deemed entry to the Competition, and must be accompanied by the entrant’s agreement to the Promoter’s form of release(“Release”).

The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to you.

The Promoter will select the best 20 entries from each country from all entries received by the closing date. The chosen winners will each receive a branded digital photo frame. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence or discussion concerning the result will be entered into.

The Promoters further have an absolute discretion to disqualify any entry, or vary, amend or waive the rules of the Competition at any time and entrants agree that no liability shall attach to the Promoters as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any entrant. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Proof of sending or transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries not properly received, incomplete, incomprehensible or delayed due to technical problems.

The prize is as stated and no cash alternative will be offered.

The winner(s) will be notified in writing within 28 days of the Closing Date. The winner(s) have 28 days after notification in which to inform AETN All Asia Networks Pte. Ltd. in writing (at the address above) that they accept the prize. Failure to accept within this time-limit will result in the prize being reoffered elsewhere.

Entry into the Competition constitutes permission for the Promoters and/or their associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies to use the names/ likeness, photographs, images and/or text of or submitted by the entrants at any of their sole discretion. All winners may be required to participate in any such publicity as the Promoters reasonably require.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Promoters shall deem all information supplied by entrant as non-confidential, and shall not bear any obligations of confidentiality.

The Promoters reserve the right to publish the name and home town or county or country or any other information or detail of the winner in any future publications. Further, such details will be available from the Promoters after the closing date by sending a request to AETN All Asia Networks Pte. Ltd. at 11C Mount Sophia, #03-16 Old School, Singapore 228467. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of the rules of entry.

No information or materials may be reproduced in any format without prior written consent from the Promoters.

Where the entrant has entered the competition via the website, they may be contacted in the future by other means, but only where consent to receive such communications has been given.

Should the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoters' control, the Promoters reserve the right to withdraw or substitute any of the prizes at any time.

Please note that dates set out in these Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time.
This Competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.

Each entrant is fully responsible for ensuring that his/her participation in the Competition is lawful in accordance with the laws of the country of which he or she is a citizen and/or resides, and/or happens to be at the time that the application is made. Neither the Promoters nor their servants or agents shall be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawfulness of any entrant's participation.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions proves to be illegal or unenforceable, this shall not prevent the remaining provisions continuing in full force and effect.
